About Rainbow Club
Rainbow Club is a registered charity that helps children with a disability learn to swim and provides young adults with aqua exercise classes. We have 50+ clubs across NSW and QLD and have plans to increase our footprint to meet the increasing demand from families of children with a disability. We employ 250+ swimming teachers on a casual basis and coordinate training opportunities for potential new teachers.
The Role
This new role reports to the Club Resources manager. Responsibilities include:
- Administration, monitoring and updating teacher HR files
- Communication with our existing teacher, trainee and volunteer workforce at times that suit them.
- Coordinating training programs for potential new teachers, liaising with trainers and candidates and checking references as appropriate
- Distributing uniforms and other resources to teachers and clubs
- Answering member queries
- Supporting the Program Management Team
The Ideal Candidate
You will,
- Be an enthusiastic, organised and dedicated administrator.
- Be technically proficient and comfortable working on a range of systems including our Salesforce database.
- Have excellent communication skills as you will interact on a daily basis with our teachers and volunteer workforce, ensuring their HR records are up to date, compliant and they are supported to work at one of our 50+ clubs.
- Work 20 hours per week across five days and be available to work on weekends during school terms to answer queries and liaise with teachers and trainees - approximately 12 – 15 weekends per year.
Skills and Attributes:
- Administration background
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong IT and systems skills (Excel, Word and Sharepoint)
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Advantageous
- Previous experience within the aquatic or disability industry
- Previous experience with community-based charity/not-for-profit organisations
Essential Requirements:
- Working with children check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Current driver’s licence
