Job Description


We are looking for a Business Development Manager profile for AERO customers, located in GERMANY, whose required competencies are:

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted, long-lasting customer relationships with selected key customer and become a key partner for the Account.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, services, and management resources, in order to develop sales and services of SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES GROUP within the Account’s area while meeting Account’s performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Work in full understanding with other Business Units and share “best practices” with them in order to increase SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES GROUP influence not only within his/her Account’s organization but within all SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES GROUP key Accounts.
  • Adapt the biding process.
  • Achieve or exceed the margin, turnover and volumes budgeted objectives by applying the sales strategy defined with the VP GLOBAL Aerospace.
  • Develop the business through market share increases, new accounts & segment penetration - Strengthen the existing business.
  • Maximize SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES’ market penetration, service differentiation and image by ensuring a high standard service through his/her organization and the adaptation of the company.
  • Recommend and implement short, medium and long-term sales and marketing development strategies and actions plans for his/her area of responsibility – ensure management of global customer agreements (documentation, negotiation, implementation…).

Qualifications


The jobholder normally requires:

1. A University degree in Engineering or a similar field.

2. Experience at OEM's at senior management level in Germany or other European Country, in particular in Engineering activities is a condition of success in this position.

3. Experience in marketing or sales in industry using a wide range of sales techniques for a minimum of 3 - 7 years.

4. Strong communication skills - He/she must be fluent in English and have a good knowledge of German. French is a plus.

5. An extensive knowledge in his/her account and is quick wins oriented.

6. A proven track record of sales. With excellent pre and post sales experience. Able to open quickly the gates of sales.
